What Is It?
Restylane®, Restylane-L®, Restylane® Silk, Perlane®, and Perlane-L® are all members of the Restylane® family of products. Each is a clear gel formulation of hyaluronic acid specifically formulated to act like your body’s own naturally produced hyaluronic acid, helping to instantly, visibly reduce moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds or add fullness to your lips.
Lasting Results For Up To 18 Months With Full Correction
At least 95% of patients saw results for up to 18 months when they followed the Restylane® Regimen. In a clinical study treating the lines from the nose to the corners of the mouth (laugh lines), Restylane® maintained improvement for up to 18 months after initial treatment, when each line received a follow-up treatment at 4.5 or nine months.
What Is The Restylane® Regimen?
The Restylane® Regimen is a scheduled treatment plan that involves initial treatment of moderate to severe laugh lines, plus a follow-up treatment approximately 4.5 or nine months later. On average, only half the amount of Restylane® injectable gel used at the initial treatment is needed at the follow-up treatment to achieve full correction—meaning just the right amount of a Restylane® family product in the appropriate treatment areas of your face.
Note: The Restylane® Regimen does not apply to Restylane® or Restylane-L® for lip enhancement for patients over 21. But, you can get the look you want—and keep it longer—when it comes to moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, when you achieve full correction.
